How to Live a Happy Life: A 4 Part Series with Amrit
The first Saturday of the month at 1pm, beginning October 4, 2025
Happiness isn’t just a nice idea — it’s something we can actually cultivate, every single day. Yet so many of us feel it’s always just out of reach (no matter what those Instagram posts suggest!).
Once a month, we’ll gather for a deeper dive into what it really takes to live a happy, fulfilling life. We’ll begin with an expanded discussion to explore a key facet of happiness — drawing on timeless wisdom, modern insights, and everyday examples. From there, we’ll shift into the experiential side, using Kundalini Yoga–based breathing, movement, meditation, chanting, and/or gong relaxation to embody what we’ve been talking about.
Each class will leave you with two things:
You don’t need to “fix” yourself to be happy. You just need to learn the skills and habits that make happiness your natural state — and then practice them. That’s what this class is about.
Pricing: Each 90 minute class is $22 for a single session, or you can use any of our class packages.

Practitioner Bio: Amrit
Amrit Singh Khalsa has been teaching Kundalini Yoga for 34 years and training teachers for 20. His teaching style blends clarity, practicality, and heart — making ancient yogic practices feel relevant and doable in modern life.
Amrit earned his PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from MIT and has had a successful career as a business executive in both the natural foods and yoga industries. He recently moved to Montclair with his wife to join a climate tech start-up developing low-carbon cement — because making the world better matters to him both on and off the yoga mat.
Amrit’s grounded presence and thoughtful insight aim to meet students where they are, offering space for personal discovery and lasting change.
