NEW YEAR'S EVE OVERNIGHT GONG IMMERSION
WITH MANUSH BALDR
DECEMBER 31, 2019 AT 7PM - JANUARY 1, 2020 AT 7:30AM
Led by Gong Avatar Manush Baldr, Montclair Kundalini Yoga’s first-ever New Year’s Eve Overnight Gong Immersion will be a profound opportunity to set intentions, heal, release the burdens of this year and years past, and enter into 2020 with clear eyes and a heart that is ready to love anew.
An overnight Gong Bath is one of the most powerful tools for healing and transformation. Yogi Bhajan stated that ten consecutive 45-minute gong healings would clear most blocks so that the soul could then heal itself, relieving the body of human suffering to deliver us to our hearts. Living within the heart, we are able to more easily thrive in our natural state of joy and belonging, and carry that vibration out into the world, inspiring those around us to do the same.
Doors will open at 7pm, and we will begin the evening at 7:30pm with some kundalini yoga and meditation to prepare ourselves to receive deeply the sacred sounds of SIX gongs. Then, we will enjoy some delicious food and tea, provided by us! And of course, our guests are welcome to bring additional treats (preferably vegan) to help everyone celebrate! We will do our very best to ensure there are options for everyone!
After a beautiful ceremony for New Beginnings, we will enter into our transcendent sleep at 10:00pm and rise again at 6:30am, greeting the first light of 2020 with meditation, dance, and song. Any participants who want to do sadhana are welcome to rise early and do their practice within the gong vortex.
A light breakfast will be served, and at 7:30am it will be time for us to part ways.
The healing, deepening, and expanding effects of this event will remain with you for a minimum of 40 days guaranteed. A perfect window to start a 40-day kriya or meditation!!
